About

This year, Southern California Ballet’s summer school will center on the powerful classical ballet, Cinderella. Each week will correspond to one of the three acts of the ballet. Dancers will have the opportunity to not only rehearse and master different versions of Cinderella, but also to explore and learn the many different roles and characters that make this ballet one of the most celebrated.

In addition to gaining knowledge of Cinderella, the students will take part in ballet technique, concentrated classes of allegro, pirouettes and/or pointe, body conditioning, and different styles of dance including jazz, contemporary, and character.

The dancers will be coached and trained by esteemed guest teachers and SCB faculty.
