Announcing Artist Residency Program

Today, Southern California Ballet is thrilled to welcome its first artists-in-residence, Marlie Couto and Courtney Mazeika! Through its new artists-in-residence program, SCB provides support and studio space for Marlie & Courtney to develop new work. Their residency lasts from November 8–20, 2018.

In an effort to provide support for emerging local artists, Southern California Ballet is inaugurating an ongoing artists-in-residence program for dancers to develop new work. A formal application process will soon be made available. We are thrilled to be starting this program and expanding our role in the community.

At the end of their residency, they will present their work to the SCB community and hold a Q&A for discussion. More details will be announced in the near future.
