After its successful launch last October, Adaptive Dance program returns in spring

Southern California Ballet’s 2019 Adaptive Dance Program Video

In October 2019, Southern California Ballet launched its first adaptive dance program. The program was designed specifically for adults with disabilities, an often overlooked community, to extend their work day while giving them physical activity, an artistic outlet, and a chance to express themselves in a way that they may have never dreamed possible.

The initial program was a huge success, culminating in a small performance for family and friends. The success of the program has allowed it to continue in the new year, and thanks to the generous support of Jim & Chris Cunningham, it remains free to all participants. Everyone here at SCB can't wait to get the dancers back in the studio to continue their dance experience.

The Spring 2020 session is four weeks, from March 18-April 8 on Wednesdays from 2:00-3:00 p.m.

The 2019 program was generously supported by the Rancho Bernardo Community Foundation and Jim & Chris Cunningham, meaning that adults with disabilities could enjoy it for free!
